- Charlie Sheen ‘in naked rampage’
- Rep blames allergic reaction
- Sources point to booze, cocaine
A NAKED Charlie Sheen – just two months out of rehab – has reportedly trashed a hotel room in a frantic bid to find his wallet and cellphone after partying with a prostitute.
It has been claimed police found the woman also naked and screaming from inside a closet in the hotel room “fearing for her life”.
Sheen, 45, allegedly told police he had been “out partying” and had been drinking and snorting cocaine before flipping out, sources told the New York Post.
However, Sheen’s rep told FOXNews.com that he “had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital”.
Security at The Plaza Hotel on New York’s Fifth Avenue called police in the early hours after a woman contacted the front desk from the 18th floor Eloise Suite, sources said.
Tables and chairs had been thrown around the room and a chandelier was also damaged, sources added.
The Two and a Half Men star was accompanied to the New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital by his ex-wife, Denise Richards, who was staying in a separate bedroom of the suite, sources said.
Sheen was in town with Richards, 39, and their two daughters for a family vacation.
Sheen was not injured but checked himself into the hospital for an evaluation, sources said.
It’s claimed that Sheen returned from partying to his room with the unidentified prostitute, but flew into a rage when he realised his wallet and cellphone were missing.
A source told Life & Style magazine the woman was found in a closet.
NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said no complaints were made and there was no arrest. Sheen is not expected to face any criminal charges.
Sheen has had a troubled past with substance abuse and allegations of assault.
The actor was arrested in Aspen, Colorado, in 2009 following a fight with wife Brooke Mueller, in which she called 911 saying that he had tried to kill her with a knife.
Sheen, who has admitted to using cocaine in the past and paying for hookers, cut a deal to avoid jail time by entering a rehab facility for 30 days.
In 1996, he was charged with attacking a girlfriend at his California home. He later pleaded no contest and was placed on probation for two years.
His father, actor Martin Sheen, later turned him in for violating his parole after a cocaine overdose sent him to the hospital. He was ordered into a rehab program.
